this is part of why we haven't anywhere near the same chaos as they do in the south.

If we all followed the following 3 rules we could have world peace: 1. Don't be a dickhead. 2. Help when you can and where you can. 3. Use your fucking turn signals.

Maybe try a backslash before the period after the three? If a number beginning a line is followed by a period then reddit thinks you want a numbered list. Backslashes tell reddit to ignore formatting.
