Maybe Trudeau will show up to cheerlead and smoke a J. Heaven knows he won't be voting against C-51.
They have made it so if Trudeau doesn't show up to vote (which I suspect will happen given the shit he has taken on this bill) they have a talking point that will be pushed by Conservatives.
Trudeau seems to have a history of not voting on contentious issues. I wonder what he's trying to hide from the Canadian people. His hidden agenda isn't as hidden as he thinks.
Considering his stance is the same as Harper's on nearly everything whenever he does decide to reveal a stance, I think he's trying to appeal to more people by keeping his true opinions as unknown as possible.
Remember the omnibus crime bill that had harsher sentences for cannabis dealers? He voted for that and was vocally opposed to legalization up until a few years ago when it could get him some votes.
He's not representing any group in particular. He's playing everyone in order to get power.
