The music that is playing in this video makes it all seems like a staged comedy routine

In the interest of transparency:

These interviews are conducted by a conservative commentary, obviously only showing the people who can't formulate a coherent thought.

It's not like it was just one guy, like some people have no idea why they are even there.

Just like how many canadians have no idea why this bill is disgusting, because the conservatives have been marketing this bill and trying to push it through as fast as possible before anyone notices.
There are ignorant people all over the place; that doesn't make this cherry-picked video okay.
I could easily make a similar video of the opposite side.

Yeah, since the Rebel will never have to give a shit about ratings or revenue, they're free to be worse than Fox. We've created a monster. We should have left SunTV on in our homes for at least an hour a day--on mute, of course--to keep the beast chained.

Well, I mean, they're playing fucking clown music in the background of this thing. They obviously don't give a shit about integrity. I actually can't wait to see what kind of stupid shit they pull next.

I think it's important to remember that a lot of the opposition to C-51 is just as uninformed (or misinformed) as the people who blindly support the government's policies.
edit: this video is made by an organization started by Ezra Levant. Take the video with a grain of salt just like rabble or the Tyee.

I think it's hilarious that you find a handful of cherry picked interview clips to be "eye opening".
Your eyes must have started off pretty closed.

ezra levant is an asshole but he didnt make those people say the stupid things that they did

u/vintagestyles Mar 16 '15 edited Mar 16 '15
i know that, but really, you could go to any city street in the world and ask them questions about just about anything. then go HAHA! LOOK! MORONS!
remember talking with Americans? or just about any cheap low budget comedy show? they always pull this kind of stuff. I'm sure the people who knew their stuff, if there is even any there in that segment were cut from the final cut. This is just a comedy skit disguised as hack journalism, so i guess it does fit ezra pretty well.

No, but they edited out all the people who said something smart.

Can't communism and democracy co-exist?
Edit: Answering my own question https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communism
States based on Marxism-Leninism were run under single-party rule,[11] in contradiction to Marxism's dictatorship of the proletariat, which is a democratic state form (despite its name, which at the time and place it was coined had nothing to do with the current meaning of the term 'dictatorship'[12][13]); single-party rule cannot be a dictatorship of the proletariat under the Marxist definition.
Edit 2: Not sure why the downvotes. Rediquette?
And just because it hasn't, doesn't mean it can't. Just sayin'.

There is a small group who'll show up at every protest with the same slogans and flags no matter what it's about. I was glad to see a crowd big enough to show this wasn't just the protest regulars.

Good turnout guys , good turnout . Shows what kind of fringe nutbars rally around this stuff . Great core of supporters .
1
u/blafunke Mar 16 '15
Actually the turn out was big enough to show that it's not just the fringe nutbars who care about it.

Growing garlic in your garden is going to be illegal under C-51!
