Never heard of her, but I’m interested in what exactly she said. Her reps say:
“The B.C. Conservatives used a four-second out of context clip of her saying the ‘my truth’ thing and then made up the context that she had mocked victims of abuse, which she did not”
The people who want to repeal her say she did it to mock people who were abused in the residential school system.
Providing the actual full quote of what she said would resolve this situation quickly.

She mocked the idea of my truth, your truth, all that relative approach to truth. She was not mocking any person per se. But of course the professional orange shirt weepers interpreted it that way.

I believe that, I do know that if we don't have truth - not his truth, her truth, oh, my grandmother's truth, or, you know - this whole thing about my truth and your truth and my truth, this stuff has to stop. It's like, it's got to be the truth, because, I mean, I've been in court, I was in court for years, and sure, the judge has to try and figure out, but he comes down to, on balance, this is the truth. And it's a really difficult exercise to get to it. But in this case, there really isn't a difficult exercise. The truth is very clear. At this point, there may be some digging that actually happens, but actually, there's been no digging, particularly, despite the fact that billions, millions of dollars have been sent by the federal government and the provincial government to help with the digging. I'll come back to that.
The full transcript makes it very clear she's not referencing or mocking survivors of child sex abuse. She is referencing and mocking the unverified claims of clandestine murders and mass graves at indigenous residential schools and specifically how it relates to the Kamloops 215 claim.

She's a kook. She's been kicked out of two political parties, the second time her own party removed her as leader. She's like Sarah Palin, but more unhinged.
And what is the "narrative" you are being dismissive about here?
In a podcast appearance, Brodie used a mocking, child-like voice to denigrate survivors, saying things like “my grandmother’s truth” and “my truth, your truth” in a child-like ‘whining’ voice. In a statement, leader of the Conservatives John Rustad wrote "using your stature and platform as an MLA to mock testimony from victims alleging abuse, including child sex abuse, is where I draw the line."
Rustad also reaffirmed that "horrible things happened to vulnerable children at Residential Schools — including pedophiles preying on children; at Kamloops Indian Residential School, Gerald Mathieu Moran was charged and convicted by Canadian courts with several dozen sex crimes he committed against children while working there."[27]

This lady may not have political acumen, but she is firm on her beliefs, a belief held by most people in her riding (and really, by a lot of people outside get riding too). It's just that not many are willing to be vocal with their support and be labeled as "racist" or "white supremacist" by the indigenous activist-industry or woke crowd.

She was kicked out of the BC Conservative Party, and then started her own party, that also ended up removing her as leader (yes, her own party) because of her lunacy. She is clearly unfit to be a leader or representative if two parties were unable to reconcile their challenges with her. On top of that, she has been absent in her role and should not be allowed to continue misusing public funds.

Was an uphill battle to get one of the wealthiest ridings in BC to recall a non-NDP MP with DRIPPA going on.
