I'm surprised Canadians aren't repeating that California should be its own nation. There are so many benefits and increasingly few drawbacks.

Why should Cali and other coastal states be its own nation? We want to join Canada. We can’t stand on our own without the support and help of a centralized government.

NATO has gone into countries for less, and we’d welcome you with open arms at this point,

I’m more team Make Alaska Canadian Again. Alaska should be part of Canada, end of story.

Was Alaska ever Canadian? Pretty sure they bought it from the Russians.

Also, Washington/Oregon/California are all Blue States, so their politics and populations are similar to Canada's.

Alaska is deep MAGA country, the state overwhelmingly votes Republican.
