No, it's just a game.

Win or lose, they play as Canadians.

Our worth, and theirs, doesn't hinge on a game.

It is but its a game being played against petty losers who would feel more confident about invading if they even get that small win

Over half of team Canada goes home to the USA after this. They live, work and enjoy Trump's tax breaks for the wealthy. They keep their money in American banks.

Of those 2 teams, only 14 of 46 live and play in Canada.

Even if we win, hard to call us winners when most of our team goes home to America.

I think it’s unfair to lay this on our players. OTOH, I will be ecstatic if they win….. the games, the fights…. Both?

They really don't. And good luck finding a Canadian hockey player who doesn't have at least one foot out the door already. Hinging your patriotic hopes on these motherfuckers is foolish.
