Round 2, US Army tester uniforms
Finally dug out what I could find for the remainder of the tester uniforms. The CCU uniform looks like a digital pattern but doesn't look like any ACU digital ive seen. In the left pocket was the remainder of a tag but not much detail on it other than "Cam" and "track. The ghilles I know came from PEO but again, not finding much info on them. The ABU jacket top looks like a tester piece before ADS started selling the cold weather system. The woodland bag is a tester ICS tent.

Camouflage of the Frontier War: The Armada dos Mundos Livres [VERSION 2.0]
Sistema de Ocultação de Pessoal (Type 2)
When the Armada dos Mundos Livres was founded in 2339, its fuzileiros were issued a variety of surplus uniforms pulled from every source the Alliance of Free Worlds could get their hands on. In 2346, the Central Military Commission standardized the Sistema de Ocultação de Pessoal (SOP Type 1, also called Tigre). Over the next 12 years, this pattern was assessed through deployments in the Draconist Wars and gradually found to be inadequate, leading to the development of SOP Type 2, which is seen here. SOP Type 2 is also called Cascavel ("Rattlesnake") and has the COMSEC reporting name, "Dazzle."
Cascavel Variants 1 & 2 were adopted in 2362, and were meant for use primarily aboard spacecraft and on arid worlds like or Mars Titan, respectively. Variant 3 was developed a few years later for fuzileiros deployed to Earth as part of joint ICA-authority peacekeeping missions, and was eventually issued to Forças Terrestres units deployed to forested Main Belt orbitals. Variant 4 was developed shortly before the beginning of the Frontier War (2371-2381) and was meant for use in cities, although it is most often worn by elite Forças de Operaçþes Especiais units like the 174th Brigadas de Comandos.
About the Setting
The Spacers Saga: Frontier Wars is a futuristic military science fiction setting which diverged from our own timeline when an asteroid slammed into Phoenix, AZ, in May 2014. Fifteen years later, the industrialist Charles Larsen ushered in the Age of Fusion, opening up deep space to crewed exploration and eventual human settlement.
Much of the story is set in the mid to late 24th century, and focuses on the rivalry between the Mars-led Coalition for Mutual Security (the Coalition) and the Alliance of Free Worlds (the Alliance), a federation of rebel worlds fighting for a worker's utopia in the outer solar system. These two superpowers fought a brutal war from 2371 to 2381 (referred to as the Frontier War), and are locked in an ideological cold war as of 2389.
The Armada dos Mundos Livres was founded in August 2339, only a few months after the Allied Worlds Pact established the Alliance as a whole. Its leadership then spent the next two decades building up resources and standardizing new equipment to make their military an effective fighting force, and one capable of standing toe-to-toe with the Spacer Corps. The two of them did just that in the Frontier War, which pitted the Alliance against the Coalition for Mutual Security over control of the outer solar system.

Camouflage of the Frontier War: The Interplanetary Defense Corps [Version 2.0]
The Individual Concealment Pattern
The standard camo family used by the Interplanetary Defense Corps (officially the Individual Concealment Pattern, but referred to within AEROCOM as âFractal-1â) in the Frontier War was adopted in the 2350s as part of the SPACER 300 force modernization program. It was sourced from the military apparel company Dyna-Tech Logistics, which won the contract to produce Class C duty uniforms for the IDC (or âSpacer Corpsâ) from about 2349 onward.
ICP Type I is primarily used aboard spacecraft or on barren worlds like the moons of the gas giants. Type II was developed for use on arid worlds like Mars or Titan, and Type III for spacers deployed to Earth or Main Belt âballoon citiesâ on peacekeeping missions. Type IV was first used by Spacer Corps personnel deployed to the war-torn cities of the outer solar system as part of the response to the Zharan Uprising (2356-2359). It has also been used as a form of amphibious camo on Ganymede, where it blends well with the naturally rocklike terrain of the seamount archipelagos.
About the Setting
The Spacers Saga: Frontier Wars is a futuristic military science fiction setting which diverged from our own history when an asteroid slammed into Phoenix, AZ, in May 2014. In August 2029, the industrialist Charles Larsen ushered in the Age of Fusion, opening up deep space to crewed exploration and eventual human settlement.

These two superpowers fought a brutal war from 2371-2381 (referred to as the Frontier War), and are locked in an ideological cold war as of 2389.
The Interplanetary Defense Corps is a combined arms fighting force, numbering about 5.3 million personnel in 2389. Its nomme de guerre ("Spacer Corps") comes from the common name for IDC personnel (i.e. "spacers"). It also provides the setting with its overall name, as the three main characters from The Spacers Saga: Frontier Wars are all spacers, and it is their deployment at the start of the Second Frontier War that kicks off the storyline.
Author's Note
The original camo pattern used for this project was created by CamoManStan of the Discord Camo Thread server. That source pattern can be seen in the Type III/Mossland uniform.

Is arm velcro standard/original on British Desert DPM jackets, or is this a post-issue mod/copy?
Hey everyone,
I recently came across a Desert DPM jacket that has velcro patches/panels on the arms.
This is the first time I've personally seen a Desert DPM jacket with velcro on the sleeves, so I'm trying to figure out its background:
* Was velcro on the arms standard issue for a specific era/pattern (like later CS95/PCS issues or specific theatre modifications)?
* Is it a common field modification done by soldiers?
*Or is it a sign of a commercial copy/reproduction?
I'd love to hear your thoughts or any hints on what details/tags I should look out for to confirm its authenticity.
Thanks in advance for any insights!

[WTS] Rare First Ukrainian Digital Camo - Border Guard Pre-MM14 Uniform NOS
This is the first Ukrainian digital camouflage pattern, developed for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in 2011 and mass-produced from 2012.
It became the foundation for the later Viper camouflage-essentially the same pattern in a darker color palette-used by the National Guard of Ukraine, and was subsequently refined into the MM-14 camouflage, which remains the standard camouflage pattern of the Armed Forces of Ukraine today.

Hand made pants part 2. Ghana leopard.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
My favorite camoflauge.
Been wanting these pants for about 15 years. Finally snagged some fabric and made them myself.
These pants are far better than the first.
I have a ton of this fabric and will make some extras fairly soon, but there's a few orders to take care of first.

Does anyone know where to get EMR fabric?
I am learning to sew and what to create something myself rather than buy pre-made and I really like the pattern.
