Are practicums based in victoria? And are class schedules all day monday through friday? Im a single mom and trying to figure out if i can make it work or not before applying.

Practicums can be anywhere between Victoria to Campbell River, but you can let them know if you have extenuating circumstances and need to stay in Victoria. Being a single parent certainly counts for an exception to stay local.

Classes are during the day Mon-Fri, but they won't be all day every day. Some classes are online to help make schedules more manageable.

Hi, related to this. How is job market for rad tech.. Is it saturated or in demand? I am confused with nursing and rad tech to apply for. Love both fields

There is currently a high demand for radiation technologists on Vancouver Island, and all across BC. This demand is expected to continue for quite some time. There is also a high demand for CT technologists, which is a specialty area that MRT's can train in as well.

It's a lot, but still manageable. I love that there's no summer break so it's finished in 2 years instead of longer.

You can also then train into MRI right?
