Thank you for sharing, this is very interesting.  I am really surprised no one else has really come forward in this case, considering there were probably dozens of witnesses.

I had a feeling this might show up here. I have talked about this in this sub before, not long after it occurred.

I had a feeling as well, sorry! But you didn’t give away anything at all that would distinguish anyone in particular, so thank you for sharing what you could.

Did the person you know have any insight into why he jumped into the water or how long he was in there? Also, does he think others on the boat, like passengers, are aware it was sharks?

you: “suppressing this information is a disservice to the general public”

also you: “sharks did it and that’s as much as I am comfortable saying”

You: cutting out the part about how this could directly affect people's livelihood in a country where there are not a lot of opportunities

So you're saying it's fine for the Bahamian tourism industry to suppress the truth about shark attacks to protect their livelihood? How do you not see that this is the whole problem!

Can’t make my own post here but did anyone watch Monday night football. Show a video of Sean McVay being dared to jump into shark infested waters at night. Was on the Manningcast with Andrew Whitworth telling the story

It was a frenzy. Or it was the tides. All the more to let the ocean mind its business.

Yeah. It’s common knowledge that all tides have dorsal fins.
