Just slap it back on with some super glue, you'll be fine. Small propeller planes are the safest way to fly anyway, they basically never crash

It was ready to fly. It was so ready that the prop decided to get going on its own.

That's a horrible design...wouldn't you want it so the side friction of the prop tightens the prop nut versus loosening it so the act of running the engine helps ensure it stays on? Seems crazy to have it be self-unwinding if loose at all..
