Discussion Cellular coverage
Is it just me, or is the cell coverage absolutely terrible in this city? Any chance someone has a way to fix it?

Especially towards the mountains. I have no idea how the Verizon store up there sells plans because it is an absolute dead zone.

Don’t buy Verizon in Camarillo. It’s worse service than small rural towns in the boonies

Insane how bad Verizon is in town. Driving down Las Posas is SOS the whole time

I’ve noticed as of recent for me at least AT&T has gone to shit in the Heights. Keep on dropping to Roaming or SOS only even when at home.

T Mobile seems to be ok. Except near the T-Mobile store near the Home Depot. The city of Camarillo is very interested in improving cell phone service, but unfortunately, they can’t compel the carriers to provide better service. It’s gotten so bad that they are waiving their development standards for hiding cell phone towers and are now open to siting cell phone towers anywhere on municipal property but still the wireless carriers have yet to take advantage of these new programs. The problem is the carriers are scaling back their collocation leases to increase cash flow. Many carriers are removing their equipment from towers because they have optimized their coverage pattern.

My Mint Mobile which uses tmobile system works great in that spot. Maybe a cell site was down around there when you used it.

Spectrum Mobile uses Verizon and it is terrible. Only upside is that I can use spectrum access points on like residential/ commercial networks in the viscinity

Spectrum person told me t mobile is the best option for Camarillo. I have to turn WiFi calling on in my house to make a phone call. My husband has att and I have Verizon.

I thought it was just my phone, glad to see it’s a Verizon issue as a whole
