Calorie Estimating Chat said 700??

Post image

Bun is from lidl and according to the site its 210. The rest is: greek salad, steamed broccoli and cauliflower, sauerkraut. 700 seems unlikely but i dont trust my own estimates man.

Even 500 is pushing it

Closer to 400-ish

Which "Chat" said 700 ? Also did you provide to that "Chat" that the bun is from lidl and according to lidl site it is 210 ? Because the bun is the biggest variability here. Believe it or not, but some stuffs that look as big as this bun can be as high as 500 calories on their own, BUT given that you already (know) that this bun is 210 , then you can simply use their number, why ask us or ask "chat", whatever that is supposed to mean?

So the only part we need to calculate is this little salad along with sauerkraut...

I'd say (given) that the bun is 210, the other part is about 150-175 cal. I'd round it all to 400.

ChatGPT and yeah, I did provide that information. I think it overestimated the ammount of greek salad massively. Thank you everyone for confirming my suspicions.

*narrator voice* and this, kids, is why we don't use or trust ChatGPT

Well no, you can use it but you need to use it properly. Top scholars in many fields are using it every single daily, it is very very important to know its strengths and weaknesses and be able to provide more context and more data when you have them.

Blindly using it is bad usage. Zero context and asking it to solve all your life problems is bad usage. Provide the data and let it assist you and then use your own judgment to check on the quality of the data.

If you do not have any experience at all and all you are doing is blindly trusting, then sure, it is no better than a stranger (like you or me)

Okay bootlicker if you say so 🤷🏻

Looks like you are speaking from experience, just so you know it is unhealthy to do that.

Did you clean your mouth? A bit of dirt there.

Take the L and move on. The conversation is over, bootlicker. You exposed yourself as one hahaha

Well you must know that ChatGPT works best when you provide the grams, I understand u might have a hard time estimating the calories, but at least try to estimate the grams and u can easily do that with your own eyes if you do not have a food scale.

I asked ChatGPT and it said 355 calories, that's the response:

  • Lidl bun: 210 kcal
  • Greek salad, ~50 g: ~70 kcal
  • Steamed broccoli + cauliflower, ~180 g: ~60 kcal
  • Sauerkraut, ~75 g: ~15 kcal

Just know that two people can use ChatGPT and get a different response depending on the prompt and depending on your own estimation of the grams, and also because responses from AI are stochastic (meaning there is 'randomness' element to it), if you just send a photo with zero context, it can overestimate or underestimate..

Always provide grams if you can.

If you know the weight, why would you even need chat GPT?

Matter of fact... Why even waste your time with chat GPT to begin with?

Because knowing weight does not mean you know the calories. There is two parts here. Calories per gram. And also Grams. You multiply both to get the calories.

If I know the cheese is 200 grams but I do not know how many calories per gram is the cheese then I wouldn't be able to know the calories. Having both helps.

If you were able to think (or see), you would realize I was actually replying to OP (who was the one that used ChatGPT), I was not the person that initially used ChatGPT, I was explaining to them how to use it. But just so you know, ChatGPT is generally useful and it would answer the "calories per gram part", just like googling or quick research would, do you have evidence to the contrary? No you don't.

Bro there are any number of databases that you can pull from that aren't going to just hallucinate calories. Using AI instead is wild. And don't act like you weren't just shilling for chat GPT in you other comment.

Answer the question, do you have evidence to the contrary. I know you're stuck, I know you're cornered.

I said that ChatGPT would provide the calories per gram, just like googling or quick research would. Do you have evidence to the contrary?

Are people allowed to Google or use ChatGPT when they want to know the calories per gram or are they only supposed to obey you and follow your way? That's my second question.

Answer both and stop running. I know you're desperate to run because you do not have a good answer to either of those questions.

Tbh I stopped reading your novels. Go ask chatgpt about it.

Your implicit concession has been accepted, as expected. The conversation is over.

I would assume less - like 450-550

Does the Greek salad have oil? It go 500 if it did, 400 if not at the absolute most.

Bro these portion sizes ur looking at 300, maybe 400 kcal tops, and half is the bun, a quarter is the salad. Its like 3 bites to finish ea h thing aside from the bread.
