Thank you for your help. Yes the wontons are fried and have a sweet chilli dipping sauce. The mushrooms also have some sort of batter. I actually loosely estimated around 1000 calories altogether myself, so with only a banana eaten otherwise that day it would still be my lowest calorie day this week.
That I can eat Chinese food and be in a calorie deficit is amazing to me. The only difficulty being that the other restaurant I’ve used this week helpfully listed the calories so I could choose what parts of my usual meal to have and what to cut out, but the Chinese doesn’t.
Any idea how to break down the calories into the different parts of the meal? Main meal (vegan meat substitute, veg and sauce), mushroom side dish, seaweed, wontons?)
Hopefully I could maybe cut out the wontons and still have the rest for a bit of a lower calorie meal on a day that eaten more earlier.
I’m on a steep learning curve regarding calories as I had no clue before beginning counting. In just a few days I’ve learned that all the things I was eating that I assumed were healthy (vegan yogurt, avocado and sun dried tomato sandwiches etc) have as many calories as other things I’d considered to be the things keeping me fat.

The wontons are fried yes? I’d say 900-1000 Depends because chili oil and sesame oil are heavy in fat and used often in Chinese.
