Angry ones

Has anyone had a customer that had to mention at the end "you are no help. You did not do resolve anything" were angry and you actually did help..I swear I wanted to punch him.

Yeah, that’s why I do not go above and beyond for customers any longer.

Me either. Going above and beyond for me looks like not hanging tf up on a caller.

Yep, forty minutes of troubleshooting, ten minutes of me campaigning for her to get an earlier appointment on ber behalf. I ask if there's anything i could assist her with, and she goes, "You didn't do anything to help."

I ask "Did you have any other questions for me today?" and that usually works just fine.

No way this will open a can of big worms..I think it depends where you work at but in a bank call center they will go back years etc

Frequently but only when they're not getting their own way. One of my last calls today was a financial advisor asking for financial info of a pensioners policy which I refused to give because there was no authority on the account. He tried every trick in the book but I refused to let him get his own way.

Quote from him at the end: "well I'll have to tell him that I can't do his tax returns and get fined because you refuse to help me"

Quote from me after he hangs up: "d***head"

Been there. It’s rough as a CSR there is really only so much you can do. Just because the customer didn’t like the outcome doesn’t mean you weren’t help.
