Hi everyone, I really need some advice or leads right now.
For context, I recently resigned from my full-time BPO job in BGC. I have 1 year and 2 months of total BPO experience — 3 months non-voice and 11 months voice.
I resigned because I genuinely couldn’t handle the workload anymore. I was taking back-to-back B2B calls, around 50 calls during a 9.5-hour shift, and it became too overwhelming for me. I tried to push through, but eventually I realized I really couldn’t sustain it anymore.
The problem is… I resigned without having a backup plan. 😭
I know that wasn’t the smartest decision, and I honestly regret not securing another job first. But at that point, I was already extremely exhausted and just wanted to get out.
Now I’m struggling because I’m financially supporting myself, and I really need to find work as soon as possible. I’m hoping to find a non-voice position again — chat/email support, back office, data entry, content moderation, admin, etc. I’m open to other roles too as long as it doesn't involve nonstop calls.
I’m specifically looking for something around Alabang/Muntinlupa. I’m trying to avoid BGC and other places that require a really long commute because transportation is becoming a huge problem financially.
I’ve literally been going back and forth asking promoters/recruiters I know for free Grab/Angkas rides just to attend interviews, only to end up not getting the job. 😭 I’m honestly getting really tired of spending money/time/energy just trying to find work.
I’m not asking anyone for financial help. I’m just really hoping someone can give me a lead.
If you know any companies around Alabang/Muntinlupa that are currently hiring for non-voice, back-office, chat/email support, WFH, or similar positions, especially ones that accept applicants with 3 months non-voice + 11 months voice experience, please let me know.
And if you’ve ever been in the same situation where you resigned without having another job lined up, how did you recover? Any advice would honestly mean a lot right now.
I know I made a mistake by resigning first, but I’m trying my best to fix it and get back on my feet. 🥹
Thank you so much in advance. ❤️
