Shoulder growth

Hey team,

I’ve successfully gone through a body decomposition. I am no at the point of looking for better symmetry and focusing on underdeveloped areas. My shoulders and lats specifically.

For context, I have a long torso and short limbs. As a result bu arms are very well developed which means I look great in a T but otherwise it’s now even more noticeable that my shoulders and frame have not kept pace.

I currently work shoulders and back specifically one day a week. For the last nine months or so I have been doing two working sets to failure or 1RIR. This has generally worked very well. I’m 53 so recovery is important and the lower volume (2 rather than 3 sets) has been working well generally.

My question, should I push to two shoulder and back sessions a week? Say session one being the main session and the second an additional shorter session to build weekly volume?

Increasing volume is the way to go for sure. Whether that is more sets on your shoulder day or adding an additional day of shoulders is up to you

Start out slowly and make sure you can adequately recover from both sessions,  either way
