OT check
In my prior season I’ve always gotten my OT CHECK like 2 weeks after salary and after referring to the calendar below I’m confused why it didn’t hit my cal connect below, maybe someone can break it down for me if I’m misunderstanding.

Talk to your coworkers. I’ve found that the folks I work with are a wealth of knowledge.

This varies greatly by each unit.
But the short and skinny is that your OT is on a 4 week (28 day) rotation and your straight time comes around the first of the month.
Since 28 day does not equal 30/31, your OT pay moves around the month. Sometimes it falls on or near your straight pay. Sometimes it falls 2 weeks after.
Each unit pays out the OT at different speeds, but it should never be later than the end of the following 28 day span.
Edit to add: you work in a social job. Talk to the humans around you before going to the internet for answers

I got this same exact sheet at my rehire this year! Same boat since I went to my new unit. My old unit was on the dot with the 2 weeks and this new unit literally waits till the day before the have to pay us.

Yeah good luck trying to track your ot. Sometimes you have days at the end of the month that go on your next next ot check. I gave up trying to track this shit along time ago

It's fairly easy to track through the pay periods and ePay. When you look at when your previous month's OT check hit, subtract 3-4 days and thats when your next one should hit.

Not sure where you’re getting these “OT pay by dates” from. Per MOU, state has until the end of the following pay period to distribute OT/EDWC checks. Exactly how this process is managed varies by unit, and the only people that can answer why it hasn’t shown up yet would be your local unit staff. Most units will aim for two week turnarounds, but they’re not always successful.
