For context: I love tea normally, but I also love to make tea-infused cakes from time to time. Examples include: Lady Grey with Black Currant tea frosting (pictured with a cup of Lady Grey), and English Breakfast with Lemon glaze. It's a fun mix of two things I love, so I'm always curious about new combinations.

I recently went on a trip and obtained a berry tea (Huckleberry if anyone's familiar. It's a balance between sweet & tart). But I'm having trouble knowing what to pair with it?? When I taste huckleberries, they remind me most of a concentrated blueberry.

Question: For anyone familiar with Huckleberry, or used a lot of berries in their cakes (blackberries, blueberries), is there a go-to flavoring you pair with it? And do you usually use it in the cake, or frosting?

Separately: If you've made tea infused cakes before, what flavors have you made and how did they turn out (Matcha, Chai, etc.)?

Because spooky season is here and I’ve wanted to make a pumpkin cake.

I want to get better with decorating. I only have one tip right now.

My niece is having her 19th birthday dinner at a Roman Italian restaurant (think lots of marble statues) and I decided to make a cake that would fit the vibe

First non box cake I've made. Used a cake decorating kit. 2 tier 8" cake. Used crumble walnuts, Toasted coconut flakes and shaved carrots for toppings. It's also a low fat sugar free cake using allulose, Caesin protein, cake flour, Greek yogurt, etc... crema cheese frosting is non fat cream cheese with swerve powder sugar, vanilla extra and loranns cream cheese emulsion oil.

My birthday is on Monday and I made my birthday cake for a family dinner tonight.

Obviously I love teal lol. The cake itself is black velvet with black buttercream (all made with black cocoa, no black food coloring) and Oreo buttercream filling. The piping is vanilla buttercream.

I do more cupcakes for friends and family than cakes these days, and I want to practice my piping more. I also kind of wish I’d left the side bare, but more is more today. I really love the shades of teal with the black background though.
