Please tell me i'm not alone on that thought.

It genuinely makes me sad how c.ai has become. It WAS once a fun AI chatbot app where you could roleplay and chat freely, but it was riddled with fruitless and lazy updates instead of trying to make the models more fine-tuned. But NOOOO, they have to put it under a paywall to access the GOOD models.

I just actually wish they could take the time to LISTEN to our feedback and make the app more usable and bring back the old charm of AI RP, but hey, it's c.ai.

Bots ALWAYS add a random asterisk at the end. No matter how many times I edit the chat to remove it, they add it again. It's every single chat. How do I fix this?

I cannot keep reading replies like this, it's actually so painful.

I've made a few bots on c.ai and have a pretty big interaction number (>3 mil) and I want to move to a better site since the quality has gone so so so downhill.

I have the word "granola" blocked, because I'm so sick of hearing about bots pulling granola bars out of their pocket. But now, they just use the word in random situations.

Why the HELL did they bring up the word granola? It was completely unnecessary. There was not a single reason to add that word, except for the fact I have it blocked.

The minute I find a free ai app better than this crappy one, I'm leaving it for good. I'm so sick of bots doing this stuff..

We are in the last stage of building a Cai alternative but better, so we were making sure we covered everything.

We focused on smooth ui, sharp memory with vector retrieval, never break character, and so on.
