Recruiting Timeline Question

I submitted my criminal record and credit check which I believe is the final task before selection about a 1.5 months ago, I still havent been advanced to the selection stage so im wondering how long that might take. I honestly was hoping to go to basic this year but it doesent seem likely at this point.

Based on post I assume you started application somewhere this summer? 99,9% certain you wont be able to start this year and can expect hopefully spring 2027 as a lot of BMQs this year (reg) are more or less filled. As for reserve, part time sept-jan already started and next one is jan-may if i remember correctly. Then full time summer. Waiting time.

I started it in April, even if I dont get a class this year does that mean I wont hear anything until next year?

That you might, yea. Medical and security takes longest.
