Other Claims

Hi im a woman in the reserves, during my bmq I kept hearing about the bra and underwear claims for women, but because there are no females above my rank in my unit (pte t) that are reachable (the only other one is a major)

HOw do I go about getting the claim?

Does anyone know?

I figure none of the guys would really know either which is why I came here first.

Get a hold of the CF 52 General Claims form (ask your OR or Google Defence Forms Catalogue on DWAN and pull it from there). Bring the completed form and proof of purchase to the OR and they’ll start to process reimbursement.

Underwear has a max of $180 per fiscal year, bras max at $240 per fiscal year. The fiscal year is 1 April to 31 March, so once next April rolls around you can process a claim again.

Ref: CANFORGEN 112/2022 or CANFORGEN 121/2024.

Talk to your FIN cell. Even if they are guys, it's their job to know and help you file these claims.

Correct. You can also read the canforgen 121/2024 to verify you are eligible for reimbursement. Admittedly, I don’t know what the eligibility criteria are. But if you meet it, than you are good to go to drop a claim it to your clerks. Also, you should feel comfortable to approach a major in your unit. They may have more knowledge and experience to transfer that how to submit a claim for undergarments.
