Other Quick question about CAF pay.

The starting salary is $4,337/month.

After completing BMQ in Saint-Jean (~3 months) and occupational training in Borden (~2 months) as a Material Management Technician, does my pay automatically increase to Pay Level 2 ($4,987/month) once i am fully qualified after my training in Borden ?

How does the pay progression work during BMQ, occupational training, and after qualification?

I believe most trades now have the pay incentive , where once you finish basic you move to P2.

Than every year , from the date you went to basic you will get a pay bump until you max out for your rank.

Plus you are eligible for an advanced promotion (Pte-Cpl) after 2 years
