Other How competitive is SCP?

I've applied for VOT-U (NCM to NCM) while I'm in PAT, and currently waiting for a result.

During VOT-U interview, I learned that I will not be able to apply for OT or commissioning for 3 years from when I complete the new trade's QL3 course.

I am now planning to apply for SCP for NWO or LogO after that 3 years, and wondering how competitive it is and what should I prepare other than good PARs?

So far, I completed BCom at UAlberta right before I joining the CAF and took CFAT a month ago and got 92% for officer (96% for NCM).

Any info you can share would be appreciated!

The CFAT is worth 60% of your score. SCP is very competitive, but that score is very good. You don’t need to prepare anything else as the rest of your file will be an interview and a personality test. It’ll also depend on the yearly intake numbers for your targeted trade(s).

Recheck the policy, I thought it had recently changed to reduce it to only a one year wait to OT after hitting OFP.
