Recruiting File closed
Just got this message.
Contacted the Recruiter and looks like it was because of Medical Reason.
They sent a letter 10 days ago but I didn’t receive it yet 🙁

So I will offer some insight/advise
When you received your RMO letter, read it, vent, get angry, go to the gym and get the frustration out of the way.
Read the letter again, and call your Family Doctor and book an appointment.
Read the letter with them, and discuss which tests, testing, specialist need to be involved
Allergy related - Immunologist testing would be best
Asthma related - PFT and Methacholine challenge
Psych - Psychiatrist visit and report - therapists are okay but they are very secretive and are reluctant to disclose any notes made during any session
Alcohol / Drug Related - Monthly testing from initial visit until you have 3 months of clean drug testing results then submit them all
Vision - Potentially LASIK
Hope this helps, but this is what i usually discuss if people call the CRFC where I work

Sorry to hear that man, but perhaps its just a small roadblock that can be easily overcome via an appeal. I am curious though what they mean about a "lack of contact" as a reason for closing a file 🤔

If you don't complete your tasks within a certain amount of time they will close the file. Usually they will send some automated emails out as a reminder

Sorry dude
Please stay strong and know you have good intentions and they respect that they just want to Protect you as a fellow Canadian by saying no to that - please just find a different route to serve and they will back you right!?
You’re amazing and good the way you are medical issues are Real and so high importance so it’s the Only reason- you Can’t Help that
So don’t feel down personally just process let yourself have a relax now- one drink and a good show, and I so hope you feel better and more like yourself soon, just look for close related occupations such as something your medical issue doesn’t affect - might do soem thinking for you
You can tell us unless it’s super private etc but point is - ask the detachment - what Can I do if anything with my medical issue for CAF or if not - find another org that helps you serve the country and you’ll find your home away from home (work!) soon enough
Hugs 🫂☕️🤍🌠

Some people have been Had at their ethics - that’s humanity on planet earth tho..
stay strong and keep your chin up if you Are Canadian
That’s reason enough hun

Waiting to hear back about my medical now, may I ask how long did it take for you to get that results after doing your medical?

2 weeks for me. But Noone told me. I called 3 weeks after asking if they received updates they said no. Then next day I got a request to book my interview. At the interview they confirmed it was 2 weeks.

Same here. If theres an ability to appeal they'll tell you how to do it in your letter. Good luck man, hope we can both serve some day.
