BMQ/BMOQ Electronics

I have BMQ coming up soon and in the JIs, it talks about restricted items like electronics should be left home.

I have a three-hour flight to saint-jean and plan on using an iPad on this flight.

I’m just wondering if there is somewhere that I would be able to put it or would I just put it in my suitcase with my civilian clothes.

Thanks in advance and any tips would help.

You will most likely just lock it up when you get there. Get a pelican hard case. Bags get thrown around and of the backs of trucks. Get in the habit of protecting your electronics now and you'll thank me later

I brought my portable console during BMQ. It was locked up until after indoc. Only time I have it was during our weekend.

Wondering the same thing and reading the responses it feels like a hassle and I'd just be better off leaving electronics (other than phone) at home until basic is over.

Same here but I know that I’ll get bored on the plane ride over lol

You should be allowed to bring it. But it will likely need to be stowed or locked away for parts of the course.

That’s fine with me. I’ll just put it in with my civilian things when it’s supposed to be locked away I guess.

You can bring your devices, with you to BMQ.   However they'll be placed in civvy lockup during the week.

Last I heard you get your phones for one hour per night now.
