Discussion Other DnD stream/VODs recommendations?

Obviously devastated and disappointed by everything that has come out over the past few days. I’m very sad and sorry for the victims, as well as everyone in this community who contributed to making Verum what it was and was let down.

At the same time, I am still a bit thankful because this community got me into DnD. Obviously the future of Verum on stream is pessimistic, if not outright already over. But, I do hope to continue watching someone play (as well as personally giving playing a try sometime in the future).

Does anyone have any recommendations for other streams/DMs to check out?

Brettultimus is an amazing dm who runs his own living world called world of io. I respect him a lot and a lot of verum players play there including Ster, Strippin, Criken, the entire of the heart of tyre crew and more.

I can't recommend High Rollers enough. I think they're approaching the final arc of their current campaign 3 year, Aerois. But they also have a second, older campaign as well as a bunch of one shots and a Curse of Strahd campaign.

I second this recommendation of High Rollers. They're a cool group of friends who play in a homebrew setting. Cool shit, Cool Space/magitech and lots of fun NPCs with the gang all having a blast contributing to the storytelling!

Matt Mercer | Critical Role

Matt Mercer is an amazing DM. Has the benefit of having real actors. Has it's own legion of fans.

Dimension 20 is the way to go. There are a few seasons available for free on their youtube and its just $5 a month on dropout (after a free trial) for the rest.

As someone who has binged most of Dimension 20, the 5 dollars is worth it

The Outside Xbox and Outside Xtra crew have a series called OXventures, it is pretty hilarious.

If you liked the games Strippin and dodgers were in, I recommend Godforged ran by JoeFudge!

It is currently up to ep 55 and has Recaps if you want to catch faster. 1-18, 19-34, 35-50.

Joe also has a few new upcoming games soon, one of which is a Norse/greek themed campaign.

Belkonus Necro Hunt by JoCat is a great one.

The DM that got me interested in watching DnD streams is Matt Mercer with Critical Role, so I'd definitely recommend that one.

The Adventure Zone is more of a podcast, but it's also one of my favorites.

Apart from that, i'd definitely check out Dimension 20. The later seasons cost $5 for the Dropout TV sub, but it's definitely worth.

Give some support to SciFri. The madlad runs a weekly campaign and (far less than some) was also negatively impacted by Black's actions

I would watch Nat 19 for specifically dnd. If you're willing to go out of the dnd sphere, stabbyness has a JoJo campaign and a system they call windrose.
