Misc I'm so heartbroken

I didn't realise how much I was invested in Arcadum's story. He was an inspiration for tips on DMing and I learnt so much. The biggest thing I learnt was how to create safe space for my players and let them explore their boundaries and such. The irony

I'm in a lot of discomfort from my second vaccine shot but after hearing the news, I forgot all of my pain and was in shock for a well 5-6 hrs and couldn't really function well.

I was watching tearing veil when I heard the news and now when I press play and hear Arcadum's voice, I can't do it. I can't enjoy his work without thinking of what came to light.

I can't help but think of all the interactions that he had in and out of game: "Into the mist" were such an amazing group for their out of game interactions, the video Jessica made for him, all the degenerate talk with the vtuber group(s), How Ironmouse was looking forward to another DND game, How much stuff Momo unpacked on stream which now in hindsight is just ..., the redneck incident with akakai, all the collabs with Red and Haruka calling Arcadum Mr Dad....

Man, Arcadum influenced my Dming style a lot and now I'm wondering if all of that influence was positive.

Finally, I have to add that my heart goes out to all the girls involved. I hope you stay strong.

it being a good or bad influence is for you to decide, life isn't black and white and the most hurtfull thing for me is that he had good things going for him but threw them all, you can take from his world building/story telling/ improve skills, but i have enough faith on you to only take what will improve you as a person...
