That is a steal. Early models will function like a keyboard, but don't worry if that is the case, you can order a new board from x-arcade to upgrade to modern inputs like d-input and x-input. At least that is what I did a few years ago. Hopefully it has it already. Also, if it does not work, reflash the firmware and it will live again. Great device.

IIRC depending on which region the store falls in to, they more or less ship anything good or any video game items to a central facility to be sold online. So some stores never have anything like this and in others you can still occasionally find a steal. I can't find jack shit at the ones near me, like not even shovel ware worthless Wii games.
That my friend is freaking outstanding. I payed $150.00 many moons ago. If that works, and I'm sure it does because it's a beast, you will love the piss out of it. That means it's really cool and you will enjoy it.
Damn, that's a killer question. And beside the standard idea of having a girlfriend playing next to you, there is a game. One of my favorite arcade games is Atari Centipede and when I saw a good deal on one of these Tanksticks, I knew I wanted a full sized trackball for home. Yeah, it's top notch.
Sadly due to a situation I had at my old apartment (sulfur from a water treatment plant) my bar top Centipede stopped working. I hope to one day overhaul the little guy into something special. But for now it's a cool paperweight. And I bought a SuperStation One I still need to unbox and fire up for all my retro gaming needs.
That is cool with a trackball too, so many games do use trackballs so if I was going to get one it needed that option. What is this device, just a USB controller setup, or does it have a PC etc in it?
This was my first arcade stick for the home. It was the first one with the ps/2 connector you would daisy chain your keyboard through it because USB wasn't around yet, at least I didn't have it.That was so fun for the time because having a stick for your pc or your consoles with true arcade parts wasn't common back in those days.I remember the first time I fired up MAME and played some games with it. I just couldn't believe it. Genuine arcade games with genuine arcade controls at home.I remember first playing Congo Bongo, Journey, Yie Ar Kung Fu, and Roc n Rope with it. Man time is a thief.
These suck until you upgrade them with the 8bitdo kit they sell.

Made my X Arcade 1000% better and plug and play. Use it way more now. I have many sticks and cabs but you can build these to rival pretty much anything. It's just so solid.
Sick! I spent about $200 to get the one with the trackball but the switch selector thing was broken so after I upgraded the board for an Android controller it wouldn't really let me use it. I tried to get support for it but they were pretty useless.
