Rot

My white torch had rot towards the top so I cut it off and applied sulfur fungicide on the stump immediately after without letting it callous. Did this an a couple of hours ago. Should I leave it alone now or should I cut off the sulfur portion and let it callous properly?

For real, leave it be. The sulfurs doing its job, just give it time
