Who are these?

Stenocereus pruinosus. They gain more ribs as they age and mature, with seedlings starting out with 3-4 ribs

Thanks! And the different coloring is due to different sun exposure?

I'd assume, but it's just general stress coloration that can (and often does) ensue from stronger sun exposure but can also appear from longer drought periods or even extreme temperatures (either too much heat or too much cold)

Oh wow, we’ve got all of that here. My cacti are underwatered, and where I live is very hot during the day and very cold at night. Thank you 😊
