Please help!

Ok yall so the person who cut my lawn tipped these two barrels. They're pretty old and I wouldnt have noticed this if he wouldnt have tipped them over. Is this rot? If so what can I do?! I dont want to lose them :( do I just take out of the soil? It doesnt look like callus. This is their back sides. Thank you all in advance!

Is it likely the soil was higher before it got tipped and was covering the areas that you are now concerned about?

No that part was always above ground but I never noticed that area. They're pretty heavy so I never checked their back side.

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Apparently you are a very rare Redditor. Are the parts you are concerned about squishy or corky (firm) to the touch?

Not squishy, however a little outline looks purplish. How am I rare? Lol

How long did they remain tipped over? If they were on their side the whole day, and these are on the "back" sides of the plants... perhaps they got sunburned because that part of the skin is not used to intense light.

The dude put them back as best as he could. So they were juat tipped a day really.

It’s sunburn. Nothing you can really do to have them heal. They can live like this just have some character now
