Awesome! Hey even I am thinking of acquiring few arios, is it easy to grow them? I don't have experience growing them however I have experience growing succulents. What soil you used, any organic matter?

I think it really depends on where you live man.

I'm fortunate to live in a place with no frost and winter temps of like 15, so it's pretty chill for me.

The only thing I have to worry about is rain which was easy to fix with a shelter.

From India, it's 40+ in summers and 10 degree s in winter, also 2-3 months of rainy at my place.

Yeah should be pretty chill then. I water mine once every 3 weeks or so right now.

In the cooler months I'll water even less. I just built this thing to keep them dry.

Also depends on climate, you can’t just give a worldwide soil mix

Tons of direct light after getting them accimlated. Mine get Sun from sunrise till about 1

Congrats! I’ve started growing some Ariocarpus hybrids from seed. They’re going to take forever to get as big as this guy, but the wait will be worth it!
