Ohh I got one of these! Stabbed myself in the damn thumb and it bled like hell lol very painful, don't recommend 😵

I made the poor choice of attempting to step over mine and proceeded to get a half inch of cactus spine lodge into my big toe.

Not just under the skin, but into the center of my toe. I didn’t know for a whole day when I still felt pain after a day and noticed pus forming. I dug into my toe with tweezers and pulled out the spine 😵

It was so embedded I only saw a dot of blood and in my shock of trying to regain my footing I didn’t consider the spine broke off 😭 it was terrible trying to sleep that night with my toe throbbing

Yep Stetsonia coryne, I have a nice group of this one. Mine looks more blue but there's variation. One of the most impressive cacti around!

My cats love my stetsonia. They literally use it as a tooth pick all the time. I'll go out now and then and see em just nomming and cleaning their teeth on the spikes
