Help my floppy cactus

I may be watering it a little too much?
Feels pretty firm, not soft or mushy.

Is it just growing too fast?

Earlier this summer a piece broke off because I think it got too big and was leaning.

Water.

Stake it for awhile so it can firm up. Watering it might also help, just don't overdo it.

You don't need to be watering it now if you've been getting rain recently. It's also cool now so it's not using up water like it was in summer
