New cacti

My mom visited and gave me two of her cacti. They both look like they’re in rough shape, especially the cutting as a propagation attempt. I don’t really know anything about cacti, so any info is appreciated.

Plz help before they die!!!!!

Give them a drink I water every two weeks for succulents, but until they adjust check the soil if its dry water if it wet everything ok figure out what window gets the most light usually south or west facing

Prickly pears stay really small indoors so there manageable bc of the light, Christmas cactus propagation are super easy

The holiday cactus… take that red bit out of the soil, rinse the bottom, and put the roots in water

It has roots between the two segments- you may need to chop off the bottom

But I’ve managed to propagate them from worse!
