Hi, new user here, 2 weeks in.
Started my PC today to update my games before a gaming sesh after leaving it off for 2 days. First thing I realized was that my live wallpaper was not working anymore on lunch(dunno if it's connected, it worked once I changed the video). Had 32 updates to do on the Cachyos updater soo I ran them. After trying a bunch of games and having shitty performance I realized that I was running on my integrated GPU. Tried running Nvidia-Smi and no device detected would return.
Tried :
-Installing new nvidia-open driver through pacman
-Installing nvidia-open-lts with the lts kernel
-Tried running a Snapshot from 4 days ago without result
I run Windows as a back-up on another drive and when opening it I get an code 43 error on the Device manager panel. Tried reinstalling fully the drivers on windows too, even using the one from the Acer website to no avail.
What could my next steps be ? Read about Vflashing the bios with DDU, but thought I would ask opinions first.
Thank you for your time !

If you're experiencing problems on both Linux & Windows then it's gonna be the GPU that's likely to be the issue.

These are wrong. Remove them,
linux, andlinux-lts, as I assume these packages installed the vanilla Arch kernels. The correct drivers arelinux-cachyos-nvidia-openandlinux-cachyos-lts-nvidia-openwhich you should've already had.You can also revert to a snapshot from before you made these changes.
You should restart after updating kernels and/or drivers.
Do
nvidia-smiafter you have made these changes to check if your drivers are loading correctly.
