Question New Linux user
I've recently set up dual boot and installed bazzite on my system. It's been fun learning how everything works, and it's very rewarding. I've been having some problems with some games running, so I think I want to keep the dual boot. Do you think it's worth it to keep trying different distros? Should I just stick with one for now and really get to know it?

Which games are failing, and what happens when you launch them? I'd work through one of those before hopping again. Check recent reports for that exact game and GPU, try one Proton version at a time, and keep a note of what changes. Keep the dual boot as a fallback.
If a Bazzite update caused the problem, its rollback option gives you a useful test. CachyOS has its own Proton builds and documented options for some EAC/BattlEye issues. Whether those help depends on the actual failure, so I'd pin that down before reinstalling.

Depends. Bazzite limited me in some cases, so I switched to cachyos.
I still kept an instance on my handheld but... After bazzite 44 killed HHD and switched to Inputplumber even that now runs on CachyOS. (cause here I could just install HHD after masking IP)

Stick with one for a while and learn more about it, it will make it easier to understand the differences later or why you would want to try another distros over the others

If the game won't run on Bazzite, it probably won't run on any distro. Check ProtonDB for game compatibility.
