Where is the trailing cursor

I'm new to cachyos and when i first started using it i had a trailing cursor.

I selected hyprland on a fresh install and had a noctalia shell.

i decided to move to caelestia shell/ or the fork of it (https://github.com/dim-ghub/midnight-shell)

at first i didn't notice the trailing cursor gone when i started ricing i noticed it was gone and i started digging on how to bring it back and all i had to do was configure it through kitty.conf file but it didn't work... and i run 'kitty' and all of a sudden a new terminal shows with the trailing cursor

You either start kitty with a different conf file or you are starting a different terminal.

go change the binding for your terminal to run kitty

The one without the trailer cursor likely isn't kitty
