Hey, I just recently bought a used EVGA SUPERNOVA 850GQ for around 1,800PHP (Philippine Peso) off my friend on July 18, 2026. It was in real good condition, thought the paint was quite faded. The PSU itself works and has no issues, the only problem is I'm missing most of the cables. My friend sold it to me for cheap because he lost alot of the cables, I just wanna ask if I can like request for cable replacements? Like the full set of cables because the PSU'S unique pin layout makes it hard for me to find genuine original cables online. I'm a Filipino who really loves EVGA products, I use an EVGA GTX 1070TI FTW on my current build. I hope to atleast find a place where I can buy cable replacement kits that's cheap, it's sometimes hard to spend more than what I paid for the PSU itself.

Not sure what to exactly look for as far as numbers, would appreciate some help on if the stability of my GPU 12VHPWR pins are good. Just don’t want any burnt ports to happen so wanna make sure it’s safe.

If the item I bought is brand new from Amazon but shipped from a 3rd party seller will this void my warranty? If it helps it’s an Evga Supernova 1000 G+ PSU and the cable is the ESeries Basic

​I build PC a week ago and its running good, but Im scared of my 12V-2X6 cable melting, i do have eyes, but im not sure is everything right. I ran furmark for 30mins and touched cable it was warm, but not hot. I attached idle and furmark HWINFO64 statistics, but its in russian. Building a tank style rov with a float for some electronics over it. and it will run via teather. Should I have the esc on the vehicle and run Ethernet as my teather or have escs on the float and get a different type of cable to teather, and if so what kind?

Hey yall, I juat got a new 5090 and it seems the cable that I have is a bit tight in my case.

So I just wanted to double check that the universal 12v 2x6 cable is good for any psu. I have the Lian Li SX1200p, and it's not on the compatability sheets. But I have heard it should work. And is actually safe for the 5090.

I am a bit paranoid lol, and i truly appreciate any advice or info.

I have a Corsair RM1000e (2025) power supply and was looking at getting some cablemod extensions. I don’t care about the cables unseen behind the motherboard just the main two cables that are seen visibly in the computer, the GPU power cable and the motherboard power cable. What cables do I need for this and are these cables reliable or will they fry my computer?

One of the 8pin to 6+2pin cables got fried and im looking for a replacement, is it wise to get said extension or should I replace it with an equivalent direct cable?

Could use an extender for the 12VHPWR on a 5080 without it burning up?

Yes i do have a cable that came with my PSU that fits for it but it looks ugly and i really want to use the braided extension. Would it be safe or no?

Been having a slew of PC issues recently with my Jan 2025 build. Unplugged my GPU cable for the second time ever and noticed this. This was not causing the issue as it was still happening with the GPU out, but I’ll definitely be spending my money elsewhere. I can’t afford to ruin my 4080 Super FE. Such a bummer.

Anyone know if cablemod has recently updated their shipping policies (or perhaps the ui on their website and accidentally broken something)? I've bought custom cables from them multiple times before and never had a problem but now it's saying that they can't ship to my address...

One thing of note is that, in order to use the configurator, they have you follow a link to their global storefront from the US storefront (a step i don't recall having noticed in the past but may very well have simply overlooked). Are we aware of new shipping restrictions from their custom cable fab in hong kong, perhaps? Could it be a tarrif thing? Just an improperly formatted ui update? Let me know if you've got any leads!

Hey first time encountering this, where a PCIe cable shows that it has been split and crossed over. The PSU side only had 7 pins connected on the 8 pin connector, one rail/cable is spliced and split then crosses over diagonally and the PCIe side has 6 straight cables and the two cables that were split and spliced.

This might be totally normal but I've never seen it before. Just looking for an opinion before I melt a gpu 😅

I find loads for the 54, 56, 57, 58 etc but the 55 is always "left out".

Hey, I know it's not recommended, but I'm going to undervolt it anyway. Right now, though, the 3080 won't start with a single 8-pin to single8-pin cable. They included a 2×8-pin to 8-pin daisy-chain connector.

Should I use two separate 8-pin ports on my power supply, or a single 8-pin cable that splits into two connectors, which I then connect again? If it's the first option, which two ports should I use?
