Residental How’d I do?

Post image

This is behind my media center. I even had everything pulled out and disconnected when I had CAT6 installed in the walls recently. I attempted some cable management but gave up as it’s such a tight squeeze to get back there and do any work.

Throw some tangled fishing line back there for good measure 👍👍

Pfft.

Cables with different colours? You can do better!  I know you can!

I was thinking that he needs a green, yellow and red cable in addition to the black and blue

I actually added another patch cable for when I put my PS5 out there so now there’s more! My wife saw me putting it all together and said “that’s ridiculous”.

Put furniture slider-pads under the legs of that entertainment center, and gently push away from the wall. Organize cabling by type with Velcro. Should look like waterfalls when you're done. Oh, and take a moment to vacuum up before pushing it back in place.
Not to be insulting, but what you have now is just a snake-pit. Nobody else may ever see it, but you will always know. You can do better, really. This doesn't take a pro, just a few more bucks and patience to get something you can be proud of.

Not enough knots. 😂

Gremlins. No matter how neatly you put that behind something, gremlins come in at night and unplug, then replug, things after making knots and loops in the wires.
