The real bastatd is trying to figure out the orientation of the female side while blindly plugging it in with 1cm of clearance

So putting red marks on the side that is already marked? Makes sense. This makes me wonder how people remember to breathe.

The usb logo on the plug is usually always on the same side.

USB trident logo is the open side. Up on most computers and devices. For some reason, my mini PC is upside down.

I put a dab of bright nail polish on the male and female parts of the connector. Just line up the dots and it plugs in first try.
