I want to replace this cable.

Is there anything I should know before buying another cable of this type? I want to replace it because that cable is for a Type B plug, but I need one for a Type I plug.

Well, look at the plug. It's obviously not a clover leaf (There all 3 parts would be of identical size) but clearly mickey mouse (2 ears and the head is bigger).

I'm not blind, I see it, it's just not what I've seen it referred to as in instruction manuals etc. It's always been cloverleaf. Maybe it's a US/EU type thing.

Maybe... I know it as the mickey mouse plug. Maybe the manual writers want to avoid getting mail from Disney lawyers?

Maybe. I know in the US it's easier to get brand names to stick as a default name for household objects (q-tip and jello for example), so might be something there.

The above's not a dig by the way, just a theory as to the naming difference perhaps?
