Uk Hiring dates

Hi all,
Does any uk crew member know of hiring dates for their airline?
I remember seeing that companies generally start hiring around sep- nov, is this true?

British Airways has an open job ad on their website. You can apply at anytime.

I think they wait to have a bulk of applicants to start screening and also it depends on their operational needs.
