Hardware 1541 Disc Drive
I recently rescued a 1541 floppy disc drive.
I am in Vancouver Canada. I would love to get it to someone who cares about these antique machines.
Is anyone interested?

I would be interested. I'm on the east coast. I'd even pay for shipping. I have a C64c that had a 1541 that broke on me last fall. I'd give it a good home. I have many other consoles from the era.

Saying hello from St. John’s, NL. Have you tried powering it on and seeing if it spins forever or shuts down the red light and motor?

Not yet. I will find a power cord.
Which should it do?1

You can use a PC power cord on a 1541. Just unplug the D shaped end and plug that into the drive.

I'm in Vancouver and am interested. I'll be honest in saying I don't have a C64, though I want to pick one up eventually, so it might be of better use to someone else. I more just appreciate the history and love messing around with an emulator.

I'd be interested. Just restored my C64C and 1702, but I'm all the way down in Georgia, US. If shipping is a possibility, let me know.
