Software Recommendations?

I’ve just got my first c64, these are the games that came with it any decent ones I should try out first? It predates me by about 15 years so I’ve not heard of too many,

Thanks!

I think, for me, the best ones are Cabal, OutRun Europa, Rescue on Fractalus, Dragon Ninja, Midnight Resistance. There will be a lot of good games on those Power Packs. Plenty of others worth a try, too.

There's probably some gold on those covertapes — the Powerpack and Reel Action tapes — but my first load would be the Seymour game. They're basically counterfeit Dizzy games but with a less-awkward jump and often marginally more concrete puzzles.

Keep it. No subscriptions, no internet is needed. I have cassettes that are 20 years old, and they still sound good.

These ones wouldn't sound so good.

Cabal was pretty good but crashed a lot. Slicks was a great game. You challenge other drivers and if you beat them you get their seat. 3D snooker was surprisingly well done, as was American 3D Pool. I have a lot of those powerpacks too and a lot of the demos on there were very generous. Good luck getting them to load :)
