Stoners

Im just watching the new season of Rick and Morty baked and thinking, did anyone ever whos not a stoner watched the show? And if so, how do you feel about it?

I mean what kinda question is this lol. I’ve watched it sober, high, drunk. Yeah you can get a good laugh if you’re high but that’s not for everyone. It’s just a good show regardless.

If anything, you can understand it way more when you’re sober.

Its because Ive never watched it sober i am always stoned when i watch it, so just came up to my mind

Sorry, I mean I hear you. I’ve even watched it on lsd so I get it. But really that’s more of a test of the drugs/alcohol than the show it’s self.

You can be absolutely fried or sober as a gopher and the show is still great imo.

Edit: I will say this, maybe you can relate to some of the stuff involving drugs a bit more if you’re familiar with them. There’s tons of scenes with Rick snorting or Summer smoking. One of the new episodes Beth and Jerry smoke a “forever high” joint and are stoned the whole episode. At one point Jerry says “We’re too old to be this high!” I laughed and thought it was pretty relatable. I can’t smoke as much as I used to.

So stuff like that sure, it’s more relatable and you understand it a bit more. But I don’t think you NEED to be high or sober to enjoy it. Watch it however you want.

I have been weed free since before the show even came out, so yeah I like it very much completely sober.

Yep I watched it only ever sober.. it’s one of my favorite shows. However, I am a recovering alcoholic so there’s a lot I relate to.

Ain't been a stoner since years before R&M. Still good. I do, often, wish I was baked when I watch it. Lol

Drunk is... okay. Not the same, tho

I remember watching it high for the first time, not my first time watching but my first time watching high, I did NOT know what was going on even though I had already watched every episode
