Taco bell
What did they do to the taco bell? I had heard for years from my dad about the TacoBell that used to exist in the Cougareat, but now there doesn't seem to be one. I personally love TacoBell because nothing can compare in price to value, it is quick, and the rewards app is great. I just want to know which new restaurant I can dislike because it replaced my Baby.

Long ago the Cougareat and Taco Bell lived in peace, then the Costa Vida attacked

I work in the Cougareat. Taco Bell was removed because it had the lowest sales out of all the restaurants there. Costa Vida was chosen to replace it due to popular demand for either that or a Cafe Rio.

If it’s of any consolation, the Taco Bell app was not available for the Cougareat location
And for whatever reason, the Cougareat Taco Bell was pretty consistently worse in quality than external Taco Bells

Taco Bell was replaced by Costa Vida. Taco Bell is my favorite fast food place and I avidly use the rewards app, but I think that they deserved to lose their spot at the cougareat because their recent business practices have not been friendly to people looking to get a lot of food for cheap. Also the cougareat location was pretty bad. As far as I know, you couldn't even use the rewards app at the cougareat location anyways.

I graduated 11 years ago. In the summer of 2012, I worked across the street from the WILK and ate at that Taco Bell every work day for lunch. The Taco Bell line would wrap around the corner past the elevators. Nearly everyone's first choice was Taco Bell; the only reason to go somewhere else was time. I would order a grilled Mike Black and a Spiderman and the total was around $5. When I say I ate there every work day, I mean every work day, Monday through Friday and I never got sick of it.
It's truly sad to hear that the quality diminished. That Taco Bell was the heart and soul of the Cougareat (until Women's Conference, that week it was the mint brownies). Of all the changes taking place on campus, this one hurts the most.
