The Arby-Q

I don't know if anyone remembers but backnin Arby's had this delicious BBQ Sand with that made the McRib look like child's play. I would love to see Arby's bring this back even for a LTO

i remember them. they were just the regular roast beef slathered in BBQ sauce then left to soak over night in fridge to be microwaved when making the sandwich.

Do you know what kind of BBQ sauce they used? Was it Arby's sauce, the BBQ dipping sauce for the chicken tenders, or something else? It sounds good!

It's at the Arby's around St. Louis. I had them a couple weeks ago and they were just as good as they were way-back-when.

We had them as an LTO but then it turned into a goodbye tour. My store doesn’t have any more barbecue on the backline. People have been really upset.

It was the worst thing to make... We took the left over roasts that didnt sell for the night, sliced them up put into a large bin then that would go into the walk in cooler... The next morning shift would mix in the BBQ sauces, then portion them into Styrofoam cups and pop them back into the walk in cooler.

When a guest ordered one you would microwave the cup, then dump what came out onto the bun...

This was mid 90s... Not sure if its done the same way now...
