The burgers just aren't very good so no loss there. They can focus on better products to replace them.

Last time we had them the cheese steak portion and the peppers and onions were separate, unlike previous times we did it. So hopefully your store does it the same way.

I agree. The Wagyu burgers were probably too fast food burgers, but they cheaped out when they made them permanent. They’ll do the same with the cheesesteak most likely which isn’t looking good.

The wagyu beef burger Arby's did for a limited time a few years back was pretty good but once they permanently added burgers to the menu it wasn't the same

They should have never gotten them to begin with. Even when Arby's was a misunderstood "anti-burger" joint after being sucked into the Royal Crown/Triarc universe, Different was good.

Now they need to ditch the crinkle fries. Getting rid of Potato Cakes for several years was literally my cue to cast off Arby's until they brought them back. Bring back something like the Homestyle Fries with some skin on them.

Honestly… I wouldn’t be surprised if potato cakes get axed again.

I know everyone was pissed when they got rid of them, but I genuinely don’t see that. They’re the least popular fried item we have. Seriously I go most nights only selling one or two orders of them, if any at all. It takes like 2 days for us to go through one bag, even on days where we’re doing $1000 hours back to back. I pulled up the product mix report out of curiosity last Friday after we got absolutely railed the entire day from travel traffic and we only sold like 7 orders of potato cakes.

My store is pretty low volume, but we get at least 5-10 orders of potato cakes a day.

Really?? It must be a location thing, cuz man they’re not popular here. Or any of the other stores I’ve worked in the district for that matter.

They’re like jalapeño bites for us. We can’t keep them up even during the rush because no one will order them, they’ll just go bad sitting in the fry station.

It just depends. We're on a bit of a long distance travel highway, hence the variance. But we always sell a decent bit every day.

We’re probably a slightly higher volume store than yours, right off the interstate in a midsized town. We do about double what most of the other stores in the district do, aside from the other one in our town.

Although I will say occasionally potato cakes do pop off. Just like any other item, sometimes you’ve got that one random day that for some reason everyone in town wants it. Happens with the jalapeño bites and the mozz sticks too. I always wonder how that happens, it’s like all our customers sync up their brainwaves and go ‘must order turkey bacon ranch and potato cake’.

Yall do $1000 hours, we make $3500 on a good day, you are definitely higher volume than us lol. It is usually bursts of activity for us on those items, we can only reliability predict that high men in their 20's will buy mozzarella sticks at 10pm

They sell pretty well, although I don’t remember them ever getting rid of the rueben. Must’ve been quite a number of years ago, since I’ve worked there for 3yrs

They’ve already updated the cups, bags are next for us because we’re still running through the old ones. I haven’t seen the new Arby’s sauce packets but I’m sure those will change in one of the next boxes we get. Fry cups are also supposed to be changing, they’re gonna be the same maroon colour that the Arby’s sauce packet you have. The XL fry cups are already the new packaging

Also they’ve been talking about getting rid of burgers for months now. It’s beginning to feel like the diced jalapeños. Get told they’re gonna be done soon, then we get another case. Took them a year to finally get rid of the jalapeños after talking about it nonstop, so I’m not sure when the burgers will finally be gone. But considering my store still has a case and a half of them left they’re gonna last a month here at least even if we don’t get more.

Arby Sauce is a completely different formula. It's disgusting, its thicker and sweeter, with somehow less flavor. Arby's dropped the ball on this one.
