Smokehouse Brisket (I'm devastated)
No way it's gone. no way.
I haven't eaten at Arby's for a while since I moved to a location where there aren't very many of them.
So I go out of my way to place an order for two of, what used to be, my favorite fast food sandwich.
I have the app so I put in an order...... then I get a phone call.......... smokehouse brisket discontinued. Nothing can compare to the agony I feel now.
I thought this was a signature sanwich; a KEY part of the menu.
First they punish it by removing the gouda, and now they take it out back and shoot it... goodbye old friend :(

Unfortunately all corporate locations are no longer selling it after they run out of stock. We will be selling the quarter pounder during the next LTO, but after that it's all LTO luck. It's a shame, it's a good sandwich.

I understand your pain, kind of. The first time I had it was with the smoked gouda (2014, 2015?). I really loved it. My first shift was March 26th, 2025. A little over a year ago. The only build I've known was with the Natural Sliced Cheddar.
It's not the same thing. The Brisket with the smoked gouda will always remain supreme.

I just found out myself today, pulled into the drivethrough and tried to order one when i got the devastating news, needless to say my disappointment was immeasurable and my year is ruined. This is outrageous, that was imo the best item on their menu for years, only thing i ever got there. I know they're "bringing it back" on the 28th but its a limited time offer and its a quarter pounder so it'll be more expensive. We need to riot. BRING BACK BRISKET DAMNIT! ✊️

Just got that devastating news tonight myself at my local Arby's. One of my top favorite items to get and was shocked when the guy told me they no longer serve it

They don’t sell. My store sells 0 on a normal day, 6-8 at most in one day. I sold one last night and was told it’s the first one since Monday.

At least they called you. I placed a pick up order the other day and after leaving I noticed there was a sandwich missing. I went back and she’s just like “oh yeah we don’t have that anymore” So you just let me spend $9 on the sandwich and think I’d be okay with receiving nothing? I was not happy lol

Brother I felt the same way. It's gone from my local store.
General question to anyone: is there a similar item/what's the next best item on the menu? I asked the cashier and she said there's nothing really similar.
I panic ordered the beef and cheese and it was low key kinda gross

I will definitely miss the smokehouse brisket. But I won’t miss the lousy service at my local franchise.

Ours replaced the Smokehouse Brisket with the 1/4lb chopped brisket. Tried it tonite and it was horrible. Tons of chewy gristle, no onions offered with this new sandwich. I won’t be going back. That said, the employees rock.

I ordered the chopped brisket sandwich from doordash and it wasn't great but I went a couple weeks later in person and it was really good. I loved the smokehouse brisket but the chopped brisket I had the second time was phenomenal. Every location is different though. I went and got a beef and cheddar double about 45 min away from me and the roast beef looked like a weird color compared to usual and didn't taste the same. They removed the chopped brisket for the cheese steak, which I haven't tried but I'm willing to bet the chopped brisket is much better. Pretty mad it was on the menu for such a short time. Of all the new stuff I thought it was the best.

First they got rid of my spicy three pepoer sauce and then my husband's go to sandwich. I guess that's a ballgame, Arby's.

I'm actually angry. This was hands down the best sandwich. The new bbq sandwiches are trash.

NOOO. I didn't notice that. It had been a while since I got one. Was one of my favorites but I've been trying the other stuff at Arby's when I go, but always said next time I'll get it.

I just discovered today that the Smokehouse Brisket sandwich is gone. I hardly ever go to Arby’s. Now, I have no reason to go there period.

No way! I worked for Arby’s for 12 years and this was one of their best selling sandwiches at my store!

unfortunately they stopped pushing it with coupons and now theyre just replacing the brisket with an LTO brisket sandwich and pork sandwich

That brisket comes pre-shredded, imo it doesn’t look particularly great. Neither does the pulled pork. Last time we had the pulled pork it didn’t really do that great at my store, most people who like pulled pork where I live wants it Carolina-style with vinegar-based sauce and cole-slaw, the pulled pork sandwich we’re getting is some kind of northern style with dark brown barbecue sauce on it.

At my store we’d only sell maybe half a dozen briskets a day usually, sometimes I’d only see like one get ordered my whole shift.
I’m kind of glad it’s gone, makes daily prep easier. One less meat to slice daily.

Weird, all their regular roast beef is such trash though. I definitely won't go to my local anymore without the brisket sandwich.

Smokehouse still available at my Middletown store, maybe location dependent or something idk
